ABOUT VARADERO

Varadero is the most famous beach in Cuba and the most famous sun and sand destination. It's a mixture of many dreams, earlier perspectives, later on became projects and eventually facts. At this paradisiacal point of the Cuban geography the visitor will find hotels, cabarets, restaurants, nautical offers, golf, and a bunch of options to make him feel at ease.

The white and fine sand of its beaches, that cover 22 km uninterruptedly, and the transparency of its warm waters with the incomparable range of blue colors make of this tourist destination one of the most important and noted all over the world.
As we approach Varadero the ambience seems to change to one softer and lighter.

GEOGRAPHICAL POSITION
Out of Varadero, in Matanzas and in the Zapata Peninsula, one of Cuba' most important ecosystems and the biggest reserve of swamps in the Caribbean.

About Varadero

It natural rich environment shelters different species of wildlife, characterized by its high level of endemism.
Varadero is 140 km east of Havana and 30 km from Matanzas. There is sun light for 12 hours and average temperature is 27 °C.

WEATHER
Tropical moderate. The mean temperature is 27 ºC, with posibilities up to 28 ºC in summer. The winter shows values up to 25,4 ºC in February. The rains are few, in which the 78% occur between May and October. The annual mean days of rain is 40 days and generally occur in the nigth. The wins come from East, principally.
